Do you like reading? Is sharing books with your family and/or students a big part of your life?
Are you one of those people who loves a big celebration? YES!? So do we! And even better, we enjoy finding fun ways to celebrate that are inexpensive or free!
March 2, 2017 is the 20th year for the National Education Association's Read Across America Day - a nationwide reading celebration, and it is celebrated annually on Dr. Seuss' birthday! What a perfect opportunity to combine our love for reading and sharing with celebrating.
There are many sites and resources to help teachers
celebrate this day with students - as simple as reading
an online book, or sharing with kids how Dr. Seuss
books have impacted others.

In whichever manner you like to celebrate - be sure to share your own special memories of reading and let kids know which Dr. Seuss book is your favorite! Have fun!
